HAVE YOUR EMAIL AND READ IT TOO

Did you know that you can read your office email from home and still have it waiting for you at work in the morning?

Most email clients (such as Microsoft's Outlook) allow you to specify whether the emails, once retrieved, are to be left on the (Internet Service Provider’s) server. If you so indicate when setting up your email account on your home computer, the emails you retrieve and read at home will still be there for retrieval at the office. Usually your office email account will specify that emails are to be deleted from the server, but don’t worry, most servers will delete a received email after a fixed number of days, often 30.

And you can do this even if you use a different ISP at home from what you have at the office. Just set up the second account in your email program using your office email server name and the username and password associated with that account. If you are using AOL at home, I doubt that this will work from within AOL's email but you can still use a stand alone email program such as Outlook, Eudora, etc.
